Women who love to wear sarees, lehengas, party dresses and other fancy attires know that the shoulder-&-Back embellishments are as important as the front ones. But they often get stuck while selecting Back revealing designs, especially if they are not having a flattering upper body frame. Fat bulges sneaking out of low-Back blouses or dresses can really dampen the mood and make you perpetually self-conscious about your looks. Well, the good news is that you don’t have to suffer through all that anymore!
Dermawear Shapewear team is in the business of Shaping You Up with Confidence, and we are here to talk about the things you can do to lose Back fat fast.
MULTI-FOCUSSED FITNESS APPROACH
When it comes to stubborn Back fat, just doing a few push-ups and weights is not going to cut it. You need a focused approach to Back workouts. Firstly, get your body moving with moderate-to-high intensity cardio (cardiovascular exercises) for at least 2.5 hours per week - that’s just half an hour for 5 days / week! That ain’t so hard, is it? You don’t have to sweat it out at the gym. You can also opt for Cardio activities that you enjoy like aerobics, dancing, power yoga, swimming, cycling or running. Remember, we can’t reduce ONLY the Back fat; we must target the entire body workouts to achieve a proportionally toned Back area. Ideally, do 3 days of Cardio and 2 days of strength training to tone up the muscles. Otherwise, you’ll end up with lots of visible sagginess. Select a moderate-intensity continuous training (MOD) model where you can fit in 12-15 mins of targeted exercises for the upper body like push-ups, planks, and dumbbell-supported routines.
Wondering why we mix Cardio with Strength Training? Once the metabolism is activated with Cardio, you will begin to lose fat deposits all over. So, you’ll have to simultaneously work on building muscles using Strength Training exercises to get optimum body composition and firmness. Moreover, Strength Training keeps metabolic functions in play, that in-turn balances the hormones in the body e.g. Insulin Sensitivity (the key to regulating fat storage process).
